LA-based singer-songwriter and producer Los Retros will release their debut studio album 'Odisea' this April. The album will be released through Stones Throw and is garnering attention as a contemporary reinterpretation of city pop-inspired sounds.

Los Retros gained recognition with 'Someone To Spend Time With,' a track produced at age 17. The song has accumulated over 400 million streams and achieved gold certification, establishing a global fanbase. The project particularly drew attention as a home recording effort that began with a guitar purchased for $65 at a swap meet.

Composed of 12 tracks, 'Odisea' was completed with influences from 1980s Japanese city pop, jazz, and fusion. Layered over smooth guitar and keyboard-driven soundscapes with a dreamy and nostalgic atmosphere, Los Retros' distinctive androgynous vocals and sensual melodies drive the album throughout.

The album features notable collaborations with Japanese vocalist Hikari and 一十三十一 (HITOMITOI). The collaborations with both artists naturally blend West Coast sensibilities with the emotional essence of Japanese city pop, further expanding the album's sonic palette.

The pre-release single 'Secret Admirer' has also been unveiled. This track effectively showcases Los Retros' delicate melodic craftsmanship and world-building capabilities, offering a preview of the album's direction.

Meanwhile, Los Retros is set to perform at this year's Coachella Festival, and 'Odisea' is expected to solidify their position as a rising artist recognized by Stones Throw.
